Following a sizable update to the corresponding iOS apps, Google is releasing updates to Docs, Sheets and Slides for Android today. All three apps gain better integration with Office files, along with individual improvements in each app that will make the editing process much easier.
Docs is receiving new line spacing controls that will help you more quickly choose single, double or fractional line spacing on the fly. Sheets will now have scroll bars for faster navigation, and Slides is getting support for inserting, moving, rotating and resizing text boxes, shapes and lines.
The editing suite is also gaining easier file creation when it comes to Office files. Among other updates, Google has also added some accessibility options and squashed some more bugs.
If you have all of these apps installed already, be sure to check the Google Play Store for your updates. If not, head here to download all three or head over to GappsEarly to get your apks.
